Established in 2022, Maile is a luxury footwear and accessories brand designed to fill the gap in your wardrobe.

Handcrafted by Italian artisans, our footwear thoughtfully combines function with fashion to seamlessly carry you from day to night.

Our designs deliver unique silhouettes with heel heights no higher than 85mm - a height our founder promises accentuates your legs while also remaining "surprisingly comfortable" (Forbes, Meggen Harris).

Maile is inspired by nostalgia for tropical fantasies and the allure of city life. Innovative, conscious construction meets timeless beauty in Maile's World.

Founded by the brand's namesake, Maile moved from Tokyo to Los Angeles in 2012 to pursue her footwear design passion. She received a BA in footwear design and development from the accredited Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising before moving to Milan to further her studies at world renowned footwear school, Ars Sutoria.

For the past decade, Maile has worked in the fashion industry as a footwear designer for powerhouses like Revolve, Tory Burch, ALC, House of Harlow, and Halston. In 2022, she decided to take a leap of faith to develop her own brand, Maile World.

Maile World takes inspiration from growing up between the two different worlds of Hawaii and Japan. Her style derives from both cultures and environments, bridging together to make a perfectly dynamic pair.

Maile now lives in New York City where Maile World is headquartered, and continues the balance of island and city living through her ever evolving designs.
